The Ministry of Education announced a new scholarship programme for rural students who wish to pursue higher education.
The programme covers tuition, accommodation and study materials, and will give priority to courses in health, education, engineering and agriculture.
Through this initiative, the Government aims to reduce inequalities in access to education and train qualified professionals who return to develop their home regions.
